LADIES LEADING WORKSHOP – FEBRUARY 2025

EXPLORING THE LEADER ROLE

This is a workshop for dancers who wish to explore the leader’s role or willing to bring a more active and creative approach to their following, this edition offers another perspective and concepts on the interplay between roles in Tango.

As in our first edition, Flávia Morari & Eva Icikson will guide us to explore our dance, using your foundation as a follower to step into the leader’s role.

During the workshop, you’ll explore practical tips and resources for navigating the dance floor with confidence, how to effectively apply the lead to various movements and sequences that will leads us to study the functionality of the embrace, learning how to use connection and embrace to create fluid, dynamic, and expressive leading.

For this edition, we have included a coffee break during the workshop. During this time, we’ll love to invite you all to a shared discussion about the role of women in tango, reflecting on tradition, modernity, and sharing your thoughts and experiences.
