Thursday's Lessons
Tango Technique
These lessons are the perfect complement if you want to keep your dance healthy and truly level up your skills. We’ll work on: body awareness, posture, the embrace, walking, connection, embellishments, etc. The goal is to add quality to your movement, giving your body the freedom to stop worrying about mechanics and focus on musicality and feeling allowing you to enjoy dancing much more.
Agenda: Thursdays 19:30hs to 20:30hs (*)
About this course...
In this course, we will dive much deeper into technical aspects for leaders and followers than we normally do in partner classes, focusing heavily on your individual body awareness. We will work on essential elements to improve your dance, such as:
Posture & Balance: Finding stability and comfort.
Connection & Communication: Understanding the dialogue between roles.
The Walk (Caminata) & Embrace (Abrazo): Making your dance fluid and connected.
Embellishments (Adornos): Adding your own personality to the movement.
Practical Information
- Dates: 24/09; 01/10; 08/10; 15/10; 22/10; 29/10; 20/11(*); 27/11(*); 03/12 & 10/12.
- Location: Jeugdhuis De Kelder, Kammerstraat 10, 9000 Gent.
- Level: Intermediate with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Partnership: No partner needed.
- (*) ⚠️ Important Schedule Note: Due to venue unavailability, please note that on 20/11 and 27/11, the Thursday classes will exceptionally take place on Friday instead (at the same location and time).
Fee & Registration
This is a single dancers lessons, you don’t a partner to register. Both roles are welcome.
- Full Course Fee: €100 p/person

All students are asked to pay a small yearly registration fee. This helps us cover administrative costs and includes student insurance.
