1. Registration & Payments

• Right of Admission: We reserve the right to refuse or limit registrations if the course is already full or if admitting more students would disrupt the class dynamics, the physical space capacity, or the balance between leaders and followers.

• Confirmation: Submitting your registration does not guarantee a spot. You will receive a confirmation once your information has been processed and the group balance is verified. Spots are limited (usually 10-14 couples or 20-24 students) to ensure the quality of the learning experience.

• Payment: To confirm your spot, payment must be made before the start of the course/workshop via bank transfer, or in cash during the first lesson.

• Registration Fee: A yearly compulsory fee applies to all students joining regular courses. This covers insurance and administrative costs and is valid for the entire calendar year.

• Discounts: Special rates are available for students under 26 and job seekers. Please notify us during registration to apply.

2. Missed Lessons (Regular Courses)

• Recovery: If you miss a regular lesson, you can make it up by attending any other lesson offered during the same season. Missed lessons cannot be exchanged for private lessons, workshops, or special events.

• Partners: If the lesson requires a fixed partner, please ensure you bring one. If you bring a substitute because your regular partner is absent, your regular partner loses the right to make up that lesson later unless the substitute pays for the class.

• Expiration: All lesson recoveries and Lesson Packs must be used within the current season. They are personal and non-transferable.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• General Policy: All registrations and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to other people.

• Cancellations by Go Tango: A full refund will only be issued if an event is fully canceled by the organization due to valid reasons (force majeure, insufficient students, long-term illness, etc.).

• Emergencies (Regular Lessons): Cancellations due to illness or family emergencies (excluding holidays/travel) before the first five lessons of the season may be considered for a one-time credit transfer to the next season.

• Private Lessons: Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, the lesson is non-refundable. The room rental fee will be charged in any case.

• Semi-Private Lessons: Once payment is completed, refunds are not possible, and the lesson will be considered as taken regardless of attendance.

• Special Events: For events without advanced payment, we require at least 15 days’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations will remain responsible for the full fee.

4. House Rules

• Agreement: By registering for any of our activities, you explicitly agree to follow our House Rules. These rules ensure a respectful and safe environment for all dancers.

• Conduct: We encourage a friendly and respectful environment. Aggressive behavior or spam in our communication channels will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the course without a refund.

5. WhatsApp Groups & Media

• Communication: We use WhatsApp groups for last-minute updates and community fluid communication. Participation is voluntary; all essential info will also be sent via email.

• Privacy Note: By joining a WhatsApp group, you acknowledge that your phone number and profile will be visible to other members of that specific group.

• Recap Videos: Video recaps are shared for educational purposes. These materials are for personal use only and may not be published, shared publicly, or commercialized.

• Right of Image: We may occasionally take photos or videos during classes for promotional use. If you prefer not to appear in such materials, please inform us in writing.

6. Data Protection (GDPR)

• Information Usage: We collect your data (name, email, phone, dance partner’s data, home address, birthdate, etc) solely for registration, insurance, and class updates.

• Cookies: Our website does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

• Your Rights: We do not share your data with third parties. You may request the access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

7. Liability & Health

• Health & Safety: By participating, you certify that you are in good physical condition for dancing. Go Tango and its teachers are not responsible for personal injuries or the loss/theft of personal belongings at the studio.
