ARGENITINIAN FOLKLORE with Ana Vásquez
Join us for a vibrant cultural journey across Argentina through dance! In this special 4-class cycle, our teacher Ana Vásquez (ARG) will guide you through the rich and diverse traditional dances of different Argentine regions.
Every session begins with a welcoming warm-up to help you relax, connect with the group, and tune into the rhythm before we dive into the steps.
Agenda: Saturdays from 15:10hs to 16:30hs.
About this course...
A Regional Journey: Each class focuses on a specific geographical area and explores a couple of unique dances native to that region as “Chacarera”, “Gato”; “Escondido”, “Guayno”; “Zamba”, “Chamame”, etc.
Total Flexibility: You can register for the full 4-class cycle to get a complete cultural panorama, or simply drop in for single classes. Every session features brand-new rhythms and is completely independent!
Absolute Beginners Welcome: You do not need any previous dance experience or knowledge of folklore to join.
Group Dynamics: This is a social group class, so no partner is required. Just bring comfortable clothes and good energy.
Practical Information
- Dates: 10/10; 17/10; 14/11 & 21/11.
- Time: From 15:10hs to 16:30hs.
- Location: Jeugdhuis De Kelder, Kammerstraat 10, 9000 Gent.
- Level: All level dancers (Absolute beginners are welcome)
- Partnership: No partner needed.
- Your teacher will be Ana Vásquez.
- Bring with you: a bottle of water, comfortable clothes (no jeans) and footware.
- The lessons will be given in Dutch & Spanish.
Fee & Registration
- Per lesson: €16 p/person.
- Full Course (4 lessons): €55 p/person.
